This is a picture from the first time I went Deep-sea fishing about 20 miles off the Pacific Coast (Marino Ballena in Uvita) from our house. I caught a 200 lb. Blue Marlin on fresh tuna which we also caught. It took over one hour to reel in this small marlin because they are all muscle. To this day much of the jungle is untouched and just as beautiful as 1,000′s of years ago. Now there are small oceanside towns each with some kind of theme like Ojochal is French, Uvita is the National Park Town, Dominical is a laid back hippy surfer town, Palmar Norte /Sur is an old banana plantation town.
