How To Get to Uvita Costa Rica

There are direct flights to San Jose, CR (SJO) from the following cities:
Houston (Continental),Atlanta (Delta),Miami (American), Charlotte (US Air), Washington DC (United)
From San Jose CR to Uvita CR:

Rental Cars (MUST BE 4 WHEEL DRIVE)

Best Deal:
Rent my 1999 MItsubishi Montero 7 passenger 4X4 truck for approx. $100 less per week than any rental company
Rent-a-4 wheel drive SUV in San Jose CR and drive 3 1/2 -4 1/2 hours to Uvita or
Rent-a-4 wheel drive SUV at Palmar Sur Airport and drive 35 minutes to Uvita  or Rent-a 4 wheel car in Quepos and drive 50 minutes to Uvita (airfare is cheaper)

Hotels in San Jose: If arriving anytime after 2:00pm we suggest staying the night in San Jose at Hotel and Casino Martino www.hotelmartino.com which is 20 minutes from the airport and is absolutely gorgeous yet rooms are around $145-160 /night  and they will pick you up at airport. Then have the rental car company drop your car there later that day or early the next morning  and takeoff for Uvita from there. When returning to San Jose have our concierge drop you there or return your car there and stay your last night in continued luxury .
