Thanks for your thoughtful comments on our our Del Congos de Uvita Costa Rica Rental House. You are our first Honeymoon couple to visit our home. I trust every detail went well, from Alex (concierge) picking the two of you up at the airport, to having beautiful heart shaped tropical flower arrangements on the bed and in every room. Thanks for sharing some of your pictures for other couples to dream about, as they plan their honeymoon at beautiful Del Congos de Uvita Costa Rica rental house, a truly enchanting place.

My wife Meri and I had the opportunity to spend our honeymoon here at Del Congos de Uvita. It was everything we were looking for. You wake up to the sound of tropical birds, have a spectacular view of the ocean coast below in multiple directions, and there was always something to do. The tile pool was beautiful and is illuminated so we could keep swimming even after the sun went down. We found ourselves enjoying the house itself the most though. It's the perfect environment to relax and read, cook a delicious meal, and even spend time discovering the many flowers and fruits that surround the property. At the end of our nine day stay we found ourselves wanting to stay another month...

I have heard it said that in the 1950's up to the 1990's The Dominical/Uvita Costa Rica area was only accessible by horse path or by navigating down the Terraba River (largest river in Costa Rica ) to it's mouth and then down or up the Pacific coastline.
It might take several days depending on the route taken. Now that the new Costanera Sur Highway has been paved , access to Del Congos de Uvita Costa Rica rental house is much easier.
